Aqua Solutions: from minimal lead flow to booked 3 months out

Aqua Solutions has been a PA Digital Studio client since 2021. They came to us running on a badly-coded template site built by a regional provider whose real business model was running Google Ads on their behalf. Our 2021 site replaced it and ranked them organically fast enough that they were able to shut down the paid ad spend entirely. In 2026 we rebuilt the site again on a newer local SEO system. Today the company dominates a 50-mile service radius around Greenville, has expanded the crew, has gotten pickier about which jobs to take, and passes the least-convenient leads to other providers because the calendar is full.

A five-year arc, not a one-month sprint

2021 (the takeover)

Aqua came to us paying a regional provider for a poorly-coded template site whose real purpose was running Google Ads in the background. We rebuilt the site from scratch and locked in the local SEO foundation. Inside the first year they were ranking organically well enough to turn the Google Ads spend off completely. That's when the math started working.

2026 (the refresh)

Five years in, we rebuilt the site again on a newer system designed around our current local SEO playbook (city pages with real project proof, FAQ-rich schema, GBP-tied review velocity, faster deploy stack). The results were almost immediate. The 50-mile dominance held and grew, the crew expanded, the calendar filled, and the overflow leads now go to vetted providers rather than getting lost.

What we actually did

Five interventions that compounded

    Rebuilt the site for conversion

    Replaced the legacy site with a Next.js build focused on multi-step lead qualification (issue type, severity, town), visible licensing (PA163438, OH L01157), warranty/financing trust blocks, and same-day estimate CTAs.

    Service-line and city-page architecture

    Created dedicated pages for basement waterproofing, foundation repair, sump pump installation, crawl space encapsulation, and wall anchors, each crossed with town pages for Greenville, Mercer, Meadville, Sharpsville, Sandy Lake, Hermitage, Sharon, Grove City, New Castle, and more.

    GBP optimization and review velocity

    Reorganized Google Business Profile categories and services to match site taxonomy, set up a post-job review request loop, and got the profile past 70 five-star reviews with weekly GBP posts highlighting completed jobs by town.

    Photo gallery and project proof at scale

    Shipped a 16-photo job gallery, then set up a recurring pipeline that pulls completed-job captions from the Aqua Facebook page and turns them into GBP posts, gallery entries, and city-page proof blocks.

    Analytics and attribution

    Linked GA4 to Search Console, instrumented form events and click-to-call, and tied GBP traffic to landing pages with UTM tagging so map-pack ROI is visible separately from organic and direct.
